The Terrorism and Emergency Management specialization explores the history, economics, planning, and response strategies associated with public crises. You will analyze the USA PATRIOT Act and similar legislation to understand the impact these laws have on citizens and government agencies. You will also study the development and deployment of culturally appropriate relief services to determine their effectiveness in aiding those traumatized by disasters.
