This program is specially designed to fulfill the professional development needs for classroom teachers and other teaching professionals who wish to deepen their understanding of the teaching and learning process. The program provides a course of study directly tied to teaching practice, in which course content, student learning and required research are organized around issues and problems that teachers view as important. A variety of opportunities are provided to develop strategies for implementing innovative practices in the classroom. It also provides opportunities for thoughtful analysis of contemporary issues and problems facing teachers.
