Nonprofit and Association Management Specialization Description
The Nonprofit and Association Management specialization is designed for current and potential managers of organizations in the nonprofit sector, including associations, development organizations, foundations, and political organizations. A thorough understanding of the sector is provided, with a special emphasis on management of nonprofit organizations; financial management; revenue generation and cost control issues; legal foundations and governance; recruitment and management of volunteers; approaches to promotion, marketing and fundraising; and outcome and process evaluation of nonprofits.
