Students following degree guidelines for a Bachelor of Professional Studies with a Concentration in Health Services are interested in the service professions. The Bachelor of Professional Studies (BPS) with a Concentration in Health Services in the University College has three core tenets and they are liberal studies, professionalism, and service. Created on campus in 1975, the University College historically allows students to combine courses from various departments in order to create a unique baccalaureate degree. Since the health service industry is a growing and innovative field, this curriculum will prepare online students for a wide range of healthcare positions in hospitals, health departments, health agencies, state and federal government agencies, research facilities, schools, and industry.
