Graduates of UMUC's Master of Science in Accounting Systems (MSAS) qualify for one year of work experience toward the Certified Information Systems Auditor(tm) (CISA®) designation. As of April 8, 2010, the MSAS curriculum is in alignment with the ISACA® Model Curriculum for IT Audit and Control, 2nd Edition.

The curriculum requires 36 credits and consists of six accounting courses, five information systems courses and one program capstone.
