The Graduate Certificate program in Professional Writing provides students with experience in workplace communication. This innovative program offers professionals from a wide range of academic and career backgrounds an opportunity to improve and build upon their document writing and design skills. At least two Web-based courses in the program are offered each semester. Each course presents students with a blend of theoretical training and practical application of effective communication strategies. The curriculum is designed for immediate relevance in the workplace; to that end, faculty members incorporate cutting-edge classroom technologies, service-learning opportunities, and a wide range of community collaborations into their classes.
