Academic Certificate in Gifted Education is for Individuals not certified as educators in Texas (certified teachers outside of Texas, and people who are not certified but are interested in gifted children and their education) earn the University of North Texas Academic Certificate in Gifted Education. All of the certification classes can be used in the Educational Psychology or Special Education with gifted emphasis Masters program. Some of the endorsement classes can be used in other Master's programs in the College of Education (e.g., curriculum, administration, counseling).
