The Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders offers a high quality, evidence-based special education program. It prepares teachers to work with students who have emotional/behavioral disorders, learning disabilities and mild-moderate mental handicaps. The program can lead to a teaching endorsement and/or master's degree in special education.
