Nationally, there is an under-addressed need for skilled practitioners who have an understanding of the complex educational needs of children and youth with concomitant and challenging intellectual, sensory and developmental disabilities (ISDD).
The ISDD program faculty in the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders at University of Nebraska - Lincoln are dedicated to research and teaching that advances the quality of intervention practices. These practices are designed for children and youth with unique and multiple disabilities, their families and the collaborative work relationships needed to implement them successfully.
