In keeping pace with workforce demands the Department of Recreation, Park and Tourism Sciences has adapted one of its existing professional graduate degrees, Master in Recreation Resource Development (MRRD) to be more accommodating and relevant to practitioners. Over the last year, we have been in discussion with our key partners e.g., the National Park Service, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, and the National Association of Recreation Resource Planners about the needs of its resource managers.
