Our Bachelor of Science in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) prepares you to teach students with mild to moderate disabilities in grades K-12. Students in this program take most classes with elementary education majors and are prepared to teach general curriculum. Five specialized courses give ESE majors the additional tools they need to be successful teaching ESE students. You also earn a Reading and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) endorsement through the program and are eligible to take the general education certification as well, making you a valuable job candidate to school systems.
