The associates in sciences degree is designed for students whose goal is a four-year degree. The AS (associates in sciences) program provides students the freshmen and sophomore years of a bachelor's degree. Course requirements include mathematics, English, social sciences, humanities, fine arts and natural sciences to parallel the courses taken during the freshmen and sophomore years at a four-year college or university.
