The Center for Imaging Science offers the master of science degree in imaging science to students as an online learning program. This program is identical to the on-campus M.S. degree (project option) with a few alterations in scheduling and course offerings which are described below. Note that most Imaging Science online courses are taught in real-time using various Internet technologies at the same time they are taught face-to-face in a classroom. Ideally, online students will need access to broadband Internet and be able to deal with the limitations of learning advanced technical material without face-to-face interaction with the instructor and fellow students.
