The new Business Administration degree concentration in Entrepreneurship/ Small Business Management will equip you with the skills necessary for business success. This concentration has a strong foundation in business basics like finance and marketing - yet has an emphasis on the entrepreneur's and small business owner's unique challenges. You will develop the techniques necessary for a successful start up, including capitalization, business plan development, competitive intelligence gathering, launch plans and more. You will learn how to avoid the pitfalls that typically cause new businesses to fail and will benefit from the experiences of faculty who have owned and/or managed small businesses.
