The Master of Science in Education with a Specialization in Early Literacy Education at the Nova Southeastern University (NSU) Fischler School of Education prepares educators in the areas of language acquisition and literacy development for children from birth to age eight. This M.S.Ed. specialization provides educators with skills for assessment, curriculum development, and teaching reading comprehension strategies. Course content for a master’s degree Early Literacy Education is research based and integrates best practices in early childhood and reading education. Coursework also includes an option for students to obtain the Florida Reading endorsement.
