The Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree program is designed to provide the knowledge and skills required for leaders in health services management and administration. With a focus on rural-frontier healthcare delivery, the MHA is appropriate for working professionals, clinicians, mid-level managers, and others who desire to enter and advance in this growing field. The program consists of a sequence of concentrated online courses, a two-day on-campus Professional Seminar each semester, a Capstone Project, and Internship. The Internship is required of students who do not have a strong background in healthcare management or administration. The MHA degree is typically completed in 20 to 24 months.
