The Master of Science with Major in Nursing at Minnesota State University Moorhead is designed to prepare registered nurses holding baccalaureate degrees in nursing for advanced roles in healthcare. The program builds upon general baccalaureate nursing competencies and provides specialty education and leadership necessary to meet the education needs of graduate nursing students. You will be better able to contribute to the advancement of nursing practice, collaborate in clinical practice, and form research partnerships in education and healthcare settings. The MS in Nursing offers two emphasis choices: Nursing Education (NED) and Nursing Administration and Organization Systems Leadership (NAOSL). Two graduate certificates are also available for those who do not wish to pursue a full master's degree.
