Adolescence Education is complex and challenging but essential. Mercy College's 36-credit Master of Science Degree in Adolescence Education, Grades 7-12, will get you certified. To pursue multiple certificates – in Middle Childhood Education or Students with Disabilities – you will need additional certificate-specific classes and fieldwork.

For the initial certificate in the Adolescence Education program, you must complete the School of Education comprehensive examination prior to graduation. Professional certification requires an initial certificate and three years of teaching experience.
