This graduate-level, academic certificate option requires 18 hours of graduate TESOL courses (listed below). The courses required for the TESOL Certificate are offered as the first five courses for each MA TESOL cohort. The sixth course is the Practicum experience which entails 100-clock-hours of TESOL experience to be completed at a location convenient to the student. Students have the option of continuing on to complete the MA if desired. As with the online MA, students will take a 2-week online training course prior to beginning the TESOL courses.
