A Bachelor of Arts in History provides general rather than career-specific preparation, but the skills cultivated by the study of past and present are highly transferable to multiple fields that demand clear reasoning, articulate communication, information gathering and synthesis, and accuracy with detail. This liberal arts degree also provides a strong foundation for further graduate study.
