The Graduate Certificate in Instructional Technology Proficiency is a part of the Curriculum and Instructional Technology Program under the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The focus of the Certificate is on the integration of current and emerging technology tools into classroom instruction. It is designed for school personnel who want to further their knowledge and skills in the use of technology in teaching elementary, middle, and high school students. The Certificate is also appropriate for classroom supervisors who are responsible for evaluating technology integration but who have not had the benefit of formal technology courses. The Certificate does not lead to any type of educator licensure in the State of Massachusetts.
