The Dakota College at Bottineau Associate of Arts (AA) in Art provides students with the basic general education in two-dimensional design, drawing and art appreciation, as well as critical thinking that is needed to be successful in other academic and
professional careers.

The art program, with offerings in studio art and independent projects, encourages students to broaden their knowledge and gain experience beyond foundational coursework. As a general education elective, art coursework is transferable to any four-year program in art at another university
