Organizational management concentrates on developing the art and science of getting things accomplished through people. Students who study organizational management are capable of coordinating and facilitating the work of others to accomplish goals that may not be achieved by a single individual. To be effective managers, students must understand organizations and the organizations’ culture, recognize the many roles managers can take and understand the techniques that effectively guide individuals and teams.
