Two weeks of residency is required during the summer to complete the two courses with practicum requirements. The practicums are completed in our Literacy Center on-campus in Buffalo, New York. The remainder of the coursework for the master's program in literacy education can be completed on-line.

The online master's program in literacy education is designed to prepare literacy specialists focused on one of two areas: pre-K through sixth grade or fifth grade through 12th grade.
