Interested in "covering the basics" of Paralegal Studies? Already working in the field and want to brush up on your research, writing and basic litigation skills? This certificate will earn students a certificate of completion of five collegiate-level Paralegal Studies courses. Students in this program learn about basic and advanced law research methods, legal document preparation, contract law, and civil litigation. In addition students learn important office skills such as client billing, file management, telephone etiquette, and time management for billable hours. Students who pass this certificate of completion program can articulate these courses for credit upon being accepted into a Bryant & Stratton College degree program.
