The BA in psychology equips students with skills in critical thinking, quantitative and qualitative research, and the ability to interact effectively with groups of people from diverse backgrounds.

As part of the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences, our students are trained to be independent thinkers and active participants in a rapidly changing world. They learn from nationally renowned faculty, to include psychologists, sociologists, anthropologists, geographers, and political scientists. They develop a sensitivity to the artistic dimension of human expression, scientific inquiry and the natural environment. They hone a unique ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.
