Geography is much more than memorizing state capitals or learning to plot points on a map. Geography as an academic discipline studies the spatial dimensions of (and links between) culture, society and Earth’s environment. We consider it to be the original spatial science. Some geographers describe the field simply (yet appropriately) as the study of the “why of where” - not just the study of “where.”

Geography is the only discipline at Park University to span both the social and natural sciences. In this program, you’ll learn to explore and analyze the multitude of connections and relationships between virtually every place and space on Earth.
