The IU Online Master of Science in Health Informatics is an interdisciplinary program that integrates knowledge from informatics, healthcare, health information technology, and other disciplines to analyze and protect patient data, increase healthcare efficiencies, and produce higher quality patient care. As a student in the program, you prepare to play a critical role in healthcare organizations by leading the design, development, implementation, management, and integration of electronic health record systems, m-health, and other technologies.
