The Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy is a liberal arts degree available through the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at Fort Hays State University. The Philosophy major is a 30 hour degree program with 90 additional hours required (including the 55-hour general education requirements and 10 hours of a foreign language) for a total of 120 hours. The coursework includes 18 hours of required core courses and 12 hours of electives which provide key learning outcomes and can be integrated into other academic programs such as critical thinking, evaluating values, and interdisciplinary investigation.
