The MSN Nurse Leader program is designed to prepare nurses in various clinical settings to assume higher-level practice and leadership roles within a variety of health care settings. The degree program has an innate focus on combining the complexities of clinical leadership, quality improvement, clinical outcomes management, patient safety, resource management and interprofessional care coordination to improve health outcomes. Through this program, we have sought to combine state of the art theoretical principles, immersion in evidence-based practice, and clinical experiences designed to facilitate the development of well-prepared nurse leaders.
