The Associate of Applied Science in criminal justice prepares students for a career as a police officer, sheriff's deputy, state law enforcement officer, district attorney investigator or correctional officer.

Also, students who do not yet meet the state's age requirement for the academy may complete the degree to gain knowledge of the field.
